Sanity

Each day I find myself going insane
I wake to feel as if it were a dream
Only to relive it again
The pain flows through me
I must endure this forever

Each day the sky breaks open
I must again feel the burning sun
It rips apart my skin
My flesh melting off the bone
I consume the liquid

Each day a monster breaks out
Claws tear at my skin
My insides pour out
No one sees
My pain invisible

Each day a test
Something to push through
Last time scraping by
I can't take this any longer
Losing my mind to sanity
