"Sanity"

The constant buzzing in my head

Fills my brain with fuzz and dread

As it beckons every hour

Relinquishing all my power

For it knows no will to stop

Even when my knees fall, and I drop

The constant noise forever stands near

Waiting for my breaking, crouching in fear

As the silence screams from everywhere

I surrender to the sound forever there

Now this intensified pounding in my brain

Won't ever stop for

I am insane.
