Sanity

Sanity

Eaten up by soltitude

Senseless soul trapped by the storm

There's nothing else here.

I walked to the shore

I saw the eyes of the lost

The results of the crossed

Clueless of my exhaust.

There was nothing else here

hungry so I made a spear

lay low so I could hear

what was left of my thoughts

trying to connect the dots

free from society and its shots.

I don't know how long it has been

One thing is for sure

No matter how purposeless this life was

I was sane enough to keep it-

is what I had to keep thinking.
