Sanity

My crazed mind forgets where I am

Is it because I'm quiet they picked me

I remember the days they told me to bleed

The days they told me not to speak

Showing so many fake smiles I can't tell you which are real

No one notices, no one cares

With every cruel word my soul cracked a little more

‘Get over it’ they said

As if this is simply something I can forget about

As if you hadn't ruined my life

As if you hadn't broken me
