Sanity in the face of adversity

O lord I am trying to find you. Every waking moment. I am seeking to find you lord. Lord I want your love but yet, am in confusion My brain is aching, My heart is racing, my life is breaking. I am seeking to rise but I can’t find my way out. The problems of this world have narrowed my perception and now I have become surrounded by deception.  I am trying to rise above it all, but in my darkness I can’t find my way out. I am falling Lord. I seeking to rise but my situation as narrowed my path of escape

And while my world is breaking into a million pieces. My strength deceased. My smile vanished, my faith crumbled. My inner light that hopes to find you dimmed. All I can ask is where are you lord. And when I can’t see a way out, my father shows up. I feel the darkness that once surrounded me start to fade away. I can now say that I know the God that I serve. He has promised to pick me up everytime I fall. He is my light when darkness blocks my brightness. This is my father, my healer, and my protector. I know I am broken, of little faith. But I know he is working on me each and every day. Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is mine  through Christ, who loved me.
