Sara

From Barbies to Pokemon

And from Pokemon to Youtube

And from Youtube to Hitting the Town

9 years we have grown up with each other

And through all of them you have been my #1

Whether I was always your #1, or not

You have always treated me that way

From listening to stupid songs

And watching weird videos you would never like

To saving me from myself

I had never realized all you did for me

Watching dumb movies you didn’t even like

And even not talking for what seemed like months at a time

We were a force to be reckoned with

With little to nothing in common

We have a child’s friendship

Not about what makes us laugh

But the laughing together

The openness of sisters

That would forgive almost anything

Simply for the sake of our laughter

And preserving that bond

The one person to always count on

I love you just as much you do me

And though sometimes I may seem unyielding

And childish in what I want

I will always be there for you

And I will always be happy to back you up

To show up at a moment’s notice

No matter where, or when, or for what

You are one person that I will never give up on

And the day I forget all you did for me

Giving me, and helping me in ways not even my other ‘friends’ would

Is the day I die

And should I forget the love we have

Then there is none for you to give me

Because only a person who appreciates that kind of love

And appreciates that kind of loyalty and forgiveness

Deserves that kind of Love

And deserves that kind of Loyalty and Forgiveness
