Sarrow Sea

Sarrow Sea.

sarrow sea
gray nibbling fingers
salt seeking salt, my
home, I would surrender
though it would not satisfy
or hold back the
coming wave

we used to speak the tongues
of tumbling rock and
chattering sand
we used to pray ourselves
into crashing jetsam and
flee into the beryl
unknown

she is more than
what we make of her
bearing us and the
sarrowful
anemones

ultramarine
waves break
earth break
we break

Much Obliged.  Daniel Imburgia.
