The Satire Of High School

Welcome to my High School

Where Monday morning’s can’t get any better

Where teachers want the connection

But can’t show the affection

Where homework is a drag

It makes you wanna nag

Where people make you trip and fall

Asking if you’re okay, when they don’t care at all

Where your crush gives compliments to everyone else

Especially your friends

Where enemies talk and make mends

Where there’s so much love around

People still find away to pull you down

Where walking on the sidewalk

Students can’t tell from left to right

Walking into each other like everything’s alright

Where blasting music doesn’t apply to headphones

Students are just in their “zones”

Where lunch never looked so tasty

The touch always so pasty

Where the bathrooms hold a sweet smell

Only the janitors can tell

Where keeping that “A” won’t be so tough

Next month I’ve had enough

Where graduation is always a sight

Making it to college, just might have to fight.
