Satisfied
Lonely.
Loneliness does not end on this island. As I
continue through the forest and the empty
fields, all I see is nothing.
Silent. Quite. Dead.
Lonely.
I continue the catastrophic struggle. No
food, no money, no phone and nothing to
lift the spirits past this silence.
Quite. Dead.
Lonely.
I make sounds and sentences but everything
seems so quiet.
Dead.
Lonely.
A blessing of life, how the deceased
cannot feel loneliness. They are dead.
Lonely.
And yet I complain, alive and all. How is it
possible I suffer being
Lonely.
There is no one with me. I look right left and center.
Which direction helps cease me from being
Lonely.
Water does not flow here without
salt. Even it contributes to me being
Lonely.
Who can help? What am I to do?
Lonely.
To the right and to the left.
Lonely.
To the sides and down beneath me.
Lonely.
In my mind and in my heart.
Lonely.
Lonely.
Lonely...
But then I look up. And he was waiting.
Theres rhyme and reason to me being
Lonely?
Is this a test? Can my faith withhold
Me being
Lonely?
Must I fail he who has created me
For reason of being
Lonely?
What else does one need? Even
If he is
Lonely.
Those who are tested are loved.
Allah has favoured me.
How fortunate I am
To be
Lonely.
