Save the girl

(poems go here) Yesterday, the lips of an angel bleed red. Was it blood I couldn’t tell, but the way it flowed thick like bear lips stick; stuck to your chapped lips unforgettable? Blood shot eyes meet the earth, as her dry untouched tough never met a liquid. Is this what it feels like to be thirsty? Knees buckled from pain, dry skin untamed. This bed she calls dirt doesn’t hurt, Intel the enemy comes in the shadow of the night and tries to still her wings. Without thought she cleans her womb, with her saved tough. As she licks away the dirt her body starts to hurt. She is no longer an angel but a human. Hear she is Today with full thought form, isn’t it tragic; How one day your life belongs to you and the next day it doesn’t. Unclothed water drops to the checks of her face. Her reflection is right in front of her face and she still doesn’t know who she is. For the first time in her life the sun shines amongst her parched body and she is clothed by the heat of the sun. She begins to pick her legs up hands placed firmly against the soil; she’s up, with impeccable posture. With every unsteady foot print she ages into a beautiful woman, still alone to this thing called earth. She stumbles across these packs of seeds one reads Truth and the other reads lies. She reads the packages the Truth seeds read, sometimes the truth hurts, but living in fear is not living at all... and the lies seeds read, Lies make everything better so if you’re living you’re lying. Unaware of the circumstance she chooses to plant both. From the sky drops beauty and from the soil of the grown scratches the ugliest thing known to mankind. Today she is lost. Tomorrow she steps outside her door and finds that her feet are touching the ground, without thought she knows she’s not safe. Something is bound to happen, today she claims to be safe, but nothings safe once you dry out life. It’s up to you to bring back the light or fight.
