Save me
Save me
I try to sleep, but I just kick and scream at night
I look around for anyone, anything in sight.
There is nothing, no one I can see,
But I’m begging, screaming for someone to help me.
Feeling the words and the power as I look around,
But I realize there is no voice, there is no sound.
I look up at the clouds as if She were there.
I look down below the ground as if He would care.
There are no answers, no one to help me through,
There is only me, me and no you.
I’m desperate, I’m scared, I’m as cold as can be.
I see no light; there is no hope for me.
Reaching out into the darkness for something to grasp.
Nothing reaches back, my heart drops, and I collapse.
They don’t understand I can’t do this alone.
I want a place I can call my home.
No matter where I go they make me an outcast,
The take one look at me and they decide fast.
I am not worthy of their time, I am no good,
If I could run away, trust me I would.
They are the darkness, as dark as can be.
Some please help, find, and save me.
