Save Me (Perspective of an Abducted Nigerian Girl)

Sitting alone

Surrounded by the deep depths of darkness

Waiting for someone to come for me

Scared of what's going to happen

Thinking that this is the end of me

Come and save me

I want someone to hear my cries

I want someone to hear my screams for help

Fear surrounds me

Please I beg you

Come and save me

Everywhere I turn

They are there

I don't know what they are going to do next

There is nowhere to run

There is nowhere to hide

Come and save me

I want to be safe

With my family

With my friends

With the people I love

So please

Come and save me
