My muse found me today

She walked out from the April showers

Through the rainbow haze

She heard the prayer of this lonley one

She came back for the touch of happiness and love

She brought me many more words to use

She said you know what to do

Bring him peace when he wakes from his sleep

He had so much to say

But he sang it anyway

With soul in every tune that he played

That would move the soul and touch the heart

Some say it is love others say its art

Save your prayer filled words for Jammie

He walks with love that is all he needs

Sharing words for other people to say

With out any tears to save

They become the dew on the grass of a new day

He is that one song that sings to the universe

For you and me

Save your prayer filled words for Prince

Each and every song of compassion and peace 

He had so much to sing

Echoing words it would bring

Through the drums, through the guitar strings

What is inside will never grow old

Had so much for two life times maybe more

Another song to warm the soul

Even in April when it snows

Save a prayer for the beautiful one
