The Saved

One day can go by

But not more than one

I express necessity for her

Someone greater held on

I could have lost her

Sickness could have spread

But the grip did not let it

“Nunca se va ir”

She will never go away

When I am stranded

I will reach for her

A laugh full of life

A smile that gives light

Love will never do

His grip is strong

I’d take her

For she is my birth giver

A woman that is strong

More than ever

I love you

Like you seized your second chance

You are the one
