Saved

He saved me,
Even when I could not save myself,
And to me that was
More than anybody
Else could do for me.

He saw me for who I was,
And who I could be.
He never judged my darkness,
He even found some beauty in it.
He brightened up my world when all that was around me was darkness.

He cleaned up my heart,
He helped me pick up piece by piece,
And made me see the masterpiece that was my broken parts.

He helped me, and for that I will
Forever be grateful.
