Saved

Sun, 11/24/2013 - 17:11 -- Edie02

She walked the halls in such delight,

We never knew she cried at night.

Cuts were hidden beneath her sleeves,

She figured life was not guaranteed.

Day after day she felt alone,

Until someone took her home.

They walked and talked until no end,

She had finally found a true friend.

However it was still not enough,

She still thought life was rough.

Her friend could see right through,

And offered her help she never knew.

It all appeared things were going to be alright,

Until she decided it was time to be out of sight.

A letter was wrote up that assured there was nothing else she could do,

She had to go her time was long overdue.

Her friend read the note in the morning at school,

And felt she had been played the fool.

All the help that she gave,

Was not enough for her to be saved.

Panic quicken and before anyone knew,

The friend got her help before the gun blew.

Now she is safe and sound,

The hospital is where she is found.

Time will heal her broken mind,

But when she is out she will thank her friend she got help in time.

This is what everyone should know,

If you happen to find yourself in someones twist,

Do not be afraid of the mist.

It will all clear as long as you are here,

There is a true beauty for those who do not leave with fear.

So stay side by side with the ones who need someone kind,

You will then always find,

A spiritual reward for your mind.
