Saved by Love

As I stand here on this night
and look way up above
I see God's heavens in my sight
And I'm overwhelmed with love

To picture such a marvelous place
Filled with love and peace
Full of eternal life and space
Where His love shall never cease

All of which I don't deserve
But am granted by His grace
I live my life for Him I serve
In this constant uphill race

To ponder over life and death
Is such a scary thought
Knowing one day I'll take my last breath
After the lifelong battle fought

I know I'm not promised another hour
Or minute if I shall say
Through Him I have strength and power
Of which I shall focus on today

I live a life of sin
Of which without Him I am lost
But with Him I can win
Because for me He died on the cross

Between Heaven and Hell there is a feud
Over people like you and me
So with this I shall conclude.
Only one shall set you free

So As I stand here on this night
and look way up above
I see God's heavens in my sight
And I'm overwhelmed with love.
