Saving Herself

(poems go here)My coyness must be expressed Even if this makes you depressed Why must we only be together I can’t limit myself to you forever My kiss expresses my love But I must be set free like a dove Virginity is a door that keeps me trapped With a heart of love untapped I hear the screaming end is near I will wait for the end and my fear will disappear All roads lead to Rome But in this case it will lead to heaven or home My virginity will stay with me Unless you can make me free Tempt me like the Garden of Eden Before my body is underground hidden You finally can’t take my modesty I can tell you are ready to thirst your curiosity Before we die a thousand times Make our souls begin to chime He struck a streak of bad luck And Father Time has struck Even though my beauty will fade I will be a virgin another day
