Saving the Princess

I don't need a prince charming

I don't need a knight in shining armor

I don't need someone to come save me

Because they're not always there to save you

Sometimes they're there to kill you

To drag you down into the dark abyss and never let you go

The prince isn't always charming

The knight's not always shining

From now on I'll save myself

I'll bring myself out the tall tower

I'll find my own prince at my own ball

I'll save myself from the broken home

By myself

I'll be my own savior

Because I can only trust myself
