Savior

I will NEVER deny my savior
He's done me so many favors
I praise his name anywhere
Just take in the glares
As everyone stares
But it's because of him
That I have compassion, for I am no longer condemned
I have everlasting life forever washes of my sins
Ill sing his name at the top of my lungs
till every song about him is sung
I lift my hands high in the air
Showing him how much I care
My words that I speak
Could move mountains with the highest peaks
But only if they are from God
Not some false words of fraud
Believing in him
Is the best thing that's ever been
The Christian walk won't be easy
But sunshine or rain
I'll praise his dear name
No matter what may be the end
I'll never deny the one that covered my sins

I'm a high school sophomore. I'm working on graduating early to go to school for psychology. I have cerebral palsy and a shunt. I've had 8 surgeries. I grew up in a abusive home. That's where I found my love to write poetry. Those long nights in the dark trying to hide so I wouldn't be hit. Poetry was there for me. It saved me. I'll never stop writing.
