The Savior is Best

Without God my world would be

evilness inside of me;

today

the world hurts my soul,

bruises my heart,

leaving scars forever

on my face;

But with God

my life is full of peace

and harmony;

and even though

this dreadful world

has Satan ruling over me,

I stand up tall

with God alone,

and all those horrible

bruises and scars

are banished from my cheeks;

and tomorrow,

my life is better,

and I live forever

with God by my side.

I have been writing poetry for 5 years now and I have a collection of over 600 original poems I've made. I submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing and was published in the 2018 addition of their poetry book. I love to read and write, and I have a cat and a hamster.
