Savior Complex

The mind is never a wasteland

And even without a helping hand

The ultimate defense is to withstand

And for happiness to be a demand.

This is the youth of our nation

Eagerly seeking salvation

Depression becomes their damnation

And their emotions lack vocation.

Is love truly all you need?

If so, then love for you I do concede.

Next time before you bleed,

Accept my love as your creed.
