That Savoring Taste

When I say I love you

I get this feeling

Of something inside my mouth

It is not sour, it is not sweet

At the same time I really can’t tell

It has its own taste to it

It’s some weird flavor

But a flavor I am

In love with

It tastes like devotion and affection

It has this taste of beauty

You know that sensation in your mouth when

You take a bite of your favourite

Chocolate

That is what saying “I love you” tastes like

But all wrapped up in a very striking cover

Saying “I love you” has this sweet,

Smoky taste

That rubs into your limbs and your veins

Until it is one with your blood

And it is the only thing you feel

I sit there devouring,

Savoring every word

There is no better feeling than the taste

Of

I love you
