Savory
I saw the way the sunlight surrounded him
and how the ocean raged in his eyes
nature loved him
that was no surprise
But as he grew older
and his mind changed with time
he began to see only reason
and missed the rhyme
For no longer could his brilliance
blindly believe
faith was a sandpit
and his mind a sieve
