Saw a shooting star and I thought of you.
The night I thought about you
The night I dreamt about you
The black dark sky,
Describes my life’s catastrophe
But when I saw a shooting star
I thought of you.
You get me stalwart
You make me feeble
You are the queen of queens
You are the breath of life
You are the shining light
I wanna make it up to you
I wanna tell you how I feel
I want you to be mine
But wishes seldom turn true.
And the quandary I am in,
Is getting me
From coming to you
And loving you like
No one has ever before
And never will.
This thing is getting me
It ain’t gonna last too long
The impossible wish never ceases,
The happy sad moments never halt
You are like a diamond in my rough life
All I want is a chance
Of being with you
Sitting next to you
Holding your hand
Gaze in your eyes
Adore you till my grave
But life says
I am asking too much
Far, far too much
Something wrong with this poem?
