To Say

Forever pointing toward an unreachable horizon,

their willing ignorance of the outside world sneaks to steal the air.

Throats itching in thirst, a vast distance between their merriment,

fighting up the urge to rip up like the paper under potential scrawling.

Snapped in bitter ivory fingers stuffed in circles, their words suffocate with polite boredom.

Looked at through a squinting mirage within a sun’s awning podium I lie here in pleasure releasing the words I hear.
