Say The Word

if you have to deprive me

deprive me of that word that shames me

forces me hate myself

that word that is the reason for these scars

that cause the blood to stain my sheets

rid me of that word that reminds me of eveything im not

"PERFECT"

what everyone strives to be

Barbies and Kens are perfect

Plastic surgery can make anyone look perfect

but will being perfect stop those depressing thoughts from taking over your mind

the media alters the average look to again put emphasis on the importance of that ugly word

as if being anything else would be the death of you

what if we alter the bible and make perfect a sin?

or

erase if from the dictionary so that the only words left are

Exceptional, Unique, Beauty
