Saying Goodbye to the Sun has Never Been More Beautiful

I've been down for so long

I forgot how to stand up

You told me to get up

So I can see the sunse

Ive been in the dark for so long

I forgot what it looked like

I was hesitant

What if I fall again?

What if I get hurt?

So you took my hand and hoisted me up

I looked in the direction of the setting sun

Then the sky lit up with hues of pink

And red

And orange

Beams of light kissed my face

And they were warm

It was beautiful

And you told me

Thats there isn't just the darkness of night

Or light of day

But there's somewhere that they meet

Where some of the most beautiful things are

And you've been missing it this whole time
