Scape Goat

As I sit here

I let my  pen flow freely

The thoughts process through my brain

They chug along through as if they were a tiny train

All of my thoughts seem to escape me

They cling to the white paper covered in blue lines

I apologize to this once clean paper

Now covered in my filth

But you take all of my pain away

You keep me as the bright flower I was meant to be

A beautiful rose, open to the world

Stopping me from morphing into a venus fly trap

On edge and isolated

No room to judge

You simply sit there and accept everything I throw at you

But I really need to work on that

My throwing has become a bit off

Sometimes I throw a curve ball and miss the target

But you're there to catch me everytime

You're like my saftey net, my security blanket

I don't quite know how to thank you

So I just continue to write
