Scar

You see you hurt me

But you're sweet lava burning me
Sweet? Cause I love it

I did not understand that
When your volcanoes blew up
Had occurred from small things

My love for you has
Nourished and stayed like old trees
But you fail to notice

A patch of wet grass
You step on it, not knowing
How dirty your shoes are

I never did care for
The ocean's salt that stung my eyes
I swam wand'ring for you

Eyes, eyes bored through oceans
A wave comes up and I see
You gazed right behind me

Like a koala hung
I pretend I sleep by you
Wake up in absence

Boy oh boy you drive
Like bullet trains in cornfields
Not a care for lost

I accepted your call
But not in a'way that woke me
Rather stunned in dreamland

You left prints all over
My now red and punctured heart
A feeling all fake

Paper planes, dead heart
A mind corrupted, ignite the fuel
Tattoos all over arms

They say he's worthless
Thirteen percent pessimism
A secret world in line

Moment of honesty
We sit like vines, ready to entangle
Then you touched her
