Scared

I walk out from the closet scared of what I might see

instead of running for my life I just do me

i look around to see if it's just me here

when all of a suddent I hear steps behind me and in pops this thing called fear

i had frozen couldn't move my feet

then comes on the heat

his steps crawl closer to me

i knew this couldn't be the end I just wouldn't let it be

i breakout out and go outside and start to jog

not sure of where I'm going because of all this fog

he runs after me like I'm prize that he MUST get

i will be good and listen as long as he don't hit

i try to push myself not to stop and keep going trying to pray and talk to God as I go by

he knew that I wouldn't give up all I heard from him was a sigh

then I fell

the harsh ground has broken my shell

he came and picked me up and said you're mine

i tried to fight back but nothing I knew this would take time

when all of a sudden he threw me on the ground

i knew this time I wouldn't be found
