Scared

I'm scared of these things you’re telling me

mainly because it took me by surprise

i don't know where i went wrong

or what happened to us

and that scares me

i’d like to believe that this is just a phase

a thing you’re going through

to try and make sense of this crazy world

maybe you’re scared

i don't understand you

and I'm tired of trying

and crying

and fading

slowly because of the ambiguity you’re putting me through

but I'm scared if i pry you’ll push me further away

I'm scared of what this means for us

and the impact it will have on our family

the one we’ve been building together

will he be scared?

I'm scared of a lot of things

but mostly

I'm scared of all the things that you wont tell me
