Scared of the Silence

The rush and bustle I cannot live without--

I did not used to need the chaos,

but now I am empty without it.

The cars race my veins,

and those false suns pour streaming light from my body.

I am a goer,

a doer,

a mover,

And my city has made me scared of the silence.

I am trapped in what I have always wanted,

and I love the high.
