The Scaredy Wolf
Once upon a time in the forest of creatures.
Lived a wolf who baked goods for all the snack eaters.
He baked for the greatest, the Kings and the Queens.
He baked so well the Gingerbread man was pleased.
With all his achievements he was well known.
Even the three little pigs wanted snacks of their own.
They ordered some treats made with honeycomb
and demanded they be delivered to their homes.
The wolf went off to work in his shop.
But quickly noticed the honeycomb wasn't stocked.
The wolf was shocked, he was robbed.
And left on the shelf was a note that read, “Thanks, Goldylocks.”
The wolf didn't know what he would do.
So he went to the pigs to tell them the news.
The first pig destroyed his house as he flipped his lid.
But that was nothing compared to what the second one did.
Two houses down and one to go
What could the wolf do?
The oldest pig would know
So they got to the brick house
And the oldest pig came out
But with no sympathy he said, “you are the baker so figure it out
and don't run away because we’ll chase you down.”
The wolf ran away, afraid and alone
Till a nice old lady brought him into her home
She hid him from the pigs
In her clothes and her wig
But scare a little girl was all the disguise did
Granddaughter of the lady, a girl in a hood
She came asking questions but barring some goods
The old lady took the good and said thanks little red.
Then gave them to the wolf and sent him out of her bed.
The wolf went to the pigs and gave them their snacks.
They didn't say thank you and he never went back.
