Scarlet Petals

The scarlet roses hides the forgotten past, Each scarlet petal a former dream. Within this dream a shadow casts. The past is nothing but a gleam. The scarlet rose begins to fade, As the past disappears the rose does too. The petals seem to have dismayed, The shadows of being afraid. The scarlet petals begin to out-grow.
