Scars

Ever had the feeling where you just want to give up? Where the whole world is bothering you? The feeling where you have finally had enough, When you feel like there is nothing you can do. Ever had the sense that you are falling? Every time you try to get back up again, Something is always there, calling, Waiting in the dark for you to try and make amends. Ever had to pick up the pieces of your heart? Holding each part in your fingertips; A cruel depiction of art, While a cry for help escapes from your lips. Ever been in the dark? Where everything is so black that you can’t see, Every wound promising to leave a mark, A scar left on me.
