Scars

The grin on your face as you stood and stared

Realising that all he wanted to do was break your heart

You cried until dawn knowing that you still love him

But he doesn't love you back

He lays awake thinking about you

As another girl texts and asks him to slide through

He says “Yeah baby, make sure the doors unlocked”

He stayed up and watched the news till it was about 12 o'clock

The next day the news was world wide spread

The girl she once was is now dead

She hung from her oak tree as the note layed on the flower bed

She wrote straight to him with every broken piece of lead.

The letter read:

Dear him,

How could you break my heart

My scars are now freshley open

But sadly you caused this part

I hope you live a happy life

With a girl who is happy to be your wife

As I tie this rope around my neck

I hope that I may forever rest

I cried a thousand tears just over you

And now all i’ll see is black and blue

As I fade away, away from you

I hope you remember me

I hope to revisit you soon

       ~The best broken hearted girl
