Scars

If I told you goodbye, Would you miss me? If I died tonight, No one would miss me. I'm alone in this world, Wandering. A lost soul, Who hopes to be found, But knows, That hope is futile. For who would love someone, Who is scared to be loved? Who would love someone, Who is scared of people? I can sense when love is there, And that is my curse, It causes me to run and hide, When I know it only hurts others. When I hurt others, It adds more scars to my collection Of them covering my body. Cuts that I struggle to hide daily, A fake smile I'm forced to put on, A fake personality if forced to live with. For who would love someone, Who is scared to be loved? Who would love someone, Who is scared of people?
