Scars

she carried around the scars

they all had their own stories

how they came to be

she had done something wrong

never called him back

hung out with her friends

she wanted to run

but she knew why she didn't

she was in love

he was her soulmate

her forever. he loved her

he was just protecting her

no one would understand

they loved each other

she couldn't leave him nor he her

she was nothing without him

he hurt her for her own good

he said

"I only do it because I love you"

always the explaination

she loved him too

the scars showed

just how much
