Scars

They say time heals all wounds, Would you believe it was true? Would you believe time heals everything? When everything is constantly falling around you. Would you believe in love? Like I believe in fear. Would you believe in trust? When I have no one here. Would you wake up wondering? This will be a good day. Or will you wake up screaming? When the pain just won't go away. Where would you go? What would you do? No matter where you run, There’s nowhere to run to. You’re fighting and your bleeding, Your heart can't take anymore, You feel your face puffing up, And your eyes becoming sore. Gasping for air, Needing the room to breathe. You reach out for a helping hand, And no one’s there to help your needs. Would you believe me then? That you are alone. Would you believe me when You’re the only one home. Most wounds keep bleeding, Some emotions lock themselves behind bars. But me, time doesn’t heal my wounds, They just turn into scars.
