SCARS

Look at me

And who am I

Am I the scars of the person inside?

You see my flaws before you see my personality

Maybe that’s just the new reality

I’ve learned much from my mistakes

This knowledge is sadly how to hide my face

Hide my emotions and hide my flaws

Hide them so much I loose myself in the fall

Look at me and look close

Does my smile seem like a hoax?

Does my laugh show sincerity?

Do my eyes lack clarity?

Welcome to the life of me

Now look at yourself

What do you see?
