Schnauz
Dear Noses,
some big some small
some short, some long
Many are ashamed of you
they look in the mirror and curse
because you grew
others are content, showing them off because they have no clue
You are the cause of so much confidence
but also an abundance
of insecurity - that floods a person's thoughts
creating knots
in their stomach, everytime they compare you
everyone wants it to just quit.
To just stop. The comparing of it.
Why do small versions of you have to be better?
You are what you are.
A nose.
As long as you function who cares if youre as big as a car.
You are our breathing tool in this world.
We survive and thrive
through you.
And that is amazing.
So no more phasing
my confidence, Nose.
Because I am beautiful
and I no longer care who knows!
