The Scholar's Pen
Enthralled in a world of sin the scholar begins a journey of recourse
remorse for he has embarked off the shore that is grievance
A pen and a serene scene acts as his gateway to once again
visit his inner being his true self
Society and their views no longer matter
He cares not the rebel he is to write his own facts his own tales
Only the pen he finds familiar with such he creates an image of himself
Telling him his own ethics his own beliefs his own philosophy
Mind body and soul harmonize through the filter that is the pen
Tears sweat and blood compose a fine ink to express an even finer disposition
A threshhold for the copious emotions
All he requires is his pen.
