THE SCHOLARSHIP
Oh scholarship, scholarship where can you be
I need you to help me get to college you see
I can not afford to go to school without you
So I am waiting to see if you make me blue.
I want to teach high school with my degree
So I ask you to hear my dear humble plea
Without a scholarship I can't go to college
And learn what it's like to be full of knowledge.
I can then be independent and be able to acknowledge
That I earned a scholarship and went on to college.
