Scholarship Struggle

Searching for scholarships days upon days

finding out each and every way

to get money

It isn't funny

The amount of times

ive typed my info into the lines

"what is your race", "your ACT", "committed any crimes"

Caucasian, 24, and nope

but these endless forms are a joke

i hope that I can just get some cash

i promise I'll go to class

ill pass and become a great engineer

if these applications aren't the end of me

Make sure the essays mirror me

sincerely

I was just having fun with the poem. I'm trying to get money for books and tuition. I enjoyed this scholarship opportunity more than most because I got to be creative instead of just putting down "my awards" and such.
