Scholarships: A Complaint

Turmoil floods my soul
Undulating
Jagged
Chaotic
Waves
Beat black and blue
My mind
As I browse
A list of scholarships
That I want to apply.
Yet for each one I look up
There's something about me
That disqualifies.
It's because I'm Asian
It's because my GPA
Isn't  that high
It because I don't fit
An income bracket
Or because my disability
Isn't the right kind.
