School

School,

Where you have the right to fail but criticized,

School,

Where the pressure builds up like clogged water pipes,

School,

Where you’re labeled and segregated from other individuals,

Where if your dreams are not realistic,

They’ll be slept upon.

School,

Where it’s a so called “hate free zone”, but the sign alone brings hatred.

Ironic? I believe so. But the end of it? Is no where close.

School,

Where your style is more important than your grades.

Where you would rather work hard for some new J’s rather than on an A.

School,

Where people wear a disguise to fit in with the crowds,

Blend in with another face, Cause they’re ashamed of their own.

School,

Where the people who tend to stay quiet are consider boring, And the ones who actually have a voice are considered annoying.

School,

Where the principle is Hitler,

And the teachers are the Nazis,

Where the students are the Jews,

Punished for the most irrelevant rules,

School,

Where everyone expects you to fail,

Where even those who have the most faith, Say “I believe in you!” ….

… With denial.
