There we were standing with sweaty palms, Waiting to kiss our parents goodbye, Going on our own, trying to keep calm, Meeting new friends, with mom on standby. The next years progressed just as we had planned, We learn so much in so little time, It seems like a breeze and all so grand, Until it comes, the final and last climb. Here we grow together the last four years, Waiting to have that simple paper to hold, Watching our parents hold back the joyful tears, As our journey finally unfolds. Now we go on to our separate ways, But our memories will remain the same.
