School in 2023

All of your assignment are due at 11:59

You check the time

You take a breath

You’ve got this

You’re fine

Tick tock goes the clock

You have an essay for english

But you have writers block

A worksheet for Econ

But you don’t understand stock

Several problems for math

But all the equations interlock

A sketch for Art

But all you’ve drawn is a box

All you want to do is relax

But your stress has hit its max

Being an A student comes with a tax

School takes over

Review on Monday

Test on Tuesday

Correction on Wednesday

New chapter on Thursday

Retest next Friday

It's a never ending cycle

Study test repeat

Always a score that you have to beat

You can’t admit defeat

You can’t sleep until all your assignment are complete

Your life takes a backseat

All the stress and the tests

They make you feel like screaming

Barely give you room for breathing

The dead line keeps creeping

Leaving you freaking

All the stress is making you depressed

An anxious mess

Your mental health is in decline

But you tell everyone your fine

Your head is like a field of landmines

One wrong move and you’ll burst

But you have to get your work done so your well versed

Because your a student

And school comes first
