School

Welcome to Highschool, where all your dreams are crushed

Where you always starve because even lunch is rushed

“But I like to eat”

Well too bad because by the time you’re through the line

You’re time of the day is mine

Homework on every day

And no, closing your eyes won’t make it go away

“But I play sports! And I have a job!”

Oh well, I guess you’ll be failing my class

Because without that single page of homework, I’ll be failing your ass

Who cares that you won’t ever need this information,

Cause I get paid for my lack of innovation

“Wait, what?!”

Oh nothing kid, we care what you say!

God I can’t wait till Saturday

“What was that?”

I said, I really love to work all day

The lovely kids just make my day

“Did you just rhyme day with-”

Yes, I did!

Shut up before I dock your grade

Two more pages tonight, I’ll let that smile fade

We care about your future!

But money is much better
